"nice little rewards if you order now and then"
i like the loyalty points at The Journal Shop. it makes it feel a bit more worth it when i’m already picking up pens or notebooks. the rewards aren’t massive or anything, but they do help. it took me a minute to figure out where to apply them at checkout, so that could be a bit clearer. overall, i’ve had a good experience and i’ll probably keep using it.

"Not enough payment options"
I tried ordering a notebook, but the payment choices were limited. My usual payment method wasn’t even there, and I couldn’t not get annoyed going through checkout. In the end, I gave up and just bought it from another site. They really need to add more ways to pay.

"Reliable order, would use them again"
I ordered a notebook and a few pens from thejournalshop and overall it was a good experience. The parcel arrived when they said it would, everything was packaged properly, and nothing was damaged. The tracking updates were decent too, which was reassuring. It did take a little longer than I’d hoped, but it wasn’t a big deal. My final take: I’d be happy to order from them again

"Pretty disappointed and unsure about authenticity"
I ordered a notebook from here, but when it arrived the packaging just felt a bit off. I couldn’t really tell if it was genuine or not, which was disappointing because I was expecting something more reassuring. i don’t think I’d take the chance ordering from here again.

When my order arrived, the box was completely crushed!! Luckily, I checked the item right away, but the packaging definitely didn’t hold up well during shipping.

The items themselves were fine, so no complaints there, but the shipping took forever. I waited way longer than I expected, and the tracking updates weren’t very helpful either. if you need your order anytime soon, save your time and maybe look elsewhere. I’m not sure I’d order again.

I messaged them about my order i was just kind of waiting around forever for a proper reply. Like, I get that things can be busy, but I had to chase it up myself and even then it didn’t really feel like anyone was actually helping me. I just wanted a simple answer, so yeah... frustrating overall.

"Not much to choose from"
I was expecting a much better range, but the selection felt really limited. A lot of the journals I was looking for either weren’t there, or they all looked pretty much the same. For a shop that’s supposed to be all about journals, that’s kind of ridiculous. Disappointing overall, and I don’t think I’ll be checking back anytime soon

"Return Was Easy Enough"
I had to return a notebook because I accidentally ordered the wrong one, which was totally on me since I was probably rushing when I picked it. The return process was straightforward, though it did take a few days longer than I expected. Not a huge deal, since I wasn’t in a major hurry anyway. The refund came through just fine, so it all worked out in the end.

"The site made shopping feel like extra work"
I really wanted to like thejournalshop, but the website made it harder than it needed to be. Everything feels a bit cluttered and outdated, like there’s too much fighting for attention at once. I found myself having to click around and focus way too much just to browse, which felt like extra work instead of a fun shopping experience. The product pages don’t look very clean, and the colors and layout seem kind of random. The products might be great, but the site itself definitely needs a proper refresh.

"Not the best paper quality"
I actually wasn’t too happy with this paper. It felt really thin and kind of rough, and the ink bled through badly when I used it. I was expecting better quality, honestly.

"Wrong items and a bit of a hassle"
My order arrived, and at first I was like, great, that’s sorted… but then I actually checked it. Two of the notebooks were the wrong size, and one of the pens was a completely different colour from what I picked. Just one of those moments where you think, did anyone actually look at this before sending it out? I emailed them about it, and it did get sorted eventually, but it took longer than I would’ve liked. it was frustrating because I wasn’t asking for anything extra, just the stuff I paid for...

"Preorder was a little slow but fine"
I preordered a notebook and it took a bit longer than I was hoping, but they did keep me updated enough along the way. The packaging was good and the item was exactly what I ordered, so I cant really complain. Overall it wasnt a big deal.

"Shipping was way more frustrating than it needed to be"
I ordered from abroad the whole shipping process had me thinking, why is this so complicated? It took way longer than the estimate, and the tracking barely updated, so I was just left guessing where my package even was. The items themselves were fine once they finally arrived, but for me, the wait and uncertainty made it not really worth it.

"How were the product details this wrong?!"
I ordered a notebook because the size and paper details on the site looked exactly like what I needed. Then it arrived and it was totally different?! I reached out to support, and they basically just sent me back to the same product page like that explained anything. Super frustrating when the basic info isn’t even accurate.

"Easy site to shop on, just a bit slow sometimes"
I found thejournalshop easy to use, overall. The menus are straightforward, and I was able to find notebooks and pens without having to dig around too much. The product pages are clear too, with nice photos, and enough info to know what you're looking at. Checkout was simple, no weird steps, or confusing bits. I'm giving it 4 stars because the site felt a little slow on my phone at times, and I think some of the filters could be better. Still, it was a good shopping experience, and I’d use it again.

"I got a journal for my…"
I got a journal for my sister it arrived just fine and she absolutely loved it, so no complaints there. It was really cute and made a nice gift. But the price? A little much, in my opinion. Like, it’s a journal… why are we acting like it’s some luxury item? Still happy she liked it, but I definitely had a tiny moment of side-eye when I paid for it...
